John Pence graduated from Morehead State University with a bachelor's degree in 1977, with majors in English and Political Science, and received a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Kentucky in 1980. Mr. Pence served as legal counsel at the Kentucky Division of Securities from 1981-84, and as a staff attorney at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission from 1984-85. Mr. Pence practiced law in Frankfort, Kentucky, from 1985-88, and in Cincinnati, Ohio, from 1988-2002. While practicing law in Cincinnati, Mr. Pence dedicated numerous hours of pro bono service to AiG, and from 1999-2002, served on AiG's board of directors. In 2002, Mr. Pence joined the AiG staff as General Counsel, Director of Planned Giving Services. He also serves as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel to the board.
Tiffany Winkler graduated from Morehead State University in 2003 with a Bachelor degree in Paralegal Studies. Tiffany joined the staff at Answers in Genesis in May, 2007 as a Legal Assistant for John Pence. Tiffany and her husband are youth leaders at their church in Cincinnati, OH and parent of two girls.
Jim Hatton graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In 1994, he obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. Mr. Hatton has 22 years experience in Accounting and Finance: 12 years as Cost Accounting Manager and Controller for two manufacturing companies, 4 years as Manager of Distribution Finance for all Gap, Inc. domestic and international distribution operations, and 6 years in the non-profit sector. Mr. Hatton serves as a deacon and Bible study teacher in his church. He joined Answers in Genesis in July 2002 as Controller and now serves as the Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer.
Joe Boone joined AiG in September 2006 as the Director of Advancement. He previously was president and part-owner of a fire truck manufacturing business, having built over 1,000 fire fighting vehicles for many different agencies. Joe also spent time serving as a volunteer fireman with his local fire department. Prior to his involvement in the fire fighting industry, Joe practiced as a licensed CPA and manager with a large CPA firm in Indianapolis.
Joe became a supporter of AiG after hearing Ken Ham speak in 1996 - soon after his late wife's diagnosis with a brain tumor. Formerly a widower raising two children, Joe credits AiG with helping him and his children have a biblical understanding of why there is death and suffering in the world.
